O
The Sage* Chronicles

GuruSwamiG I don't know where to begin, but I am so grateful to have found your website. I am at a loss for what is happening to me, and after searching the internet first for diseases, illnesses, or psychological disorders, I (accidentally) stumbled upon "Kundalini". I am truly frightened and am hoping to gain some insight into my new "condition" and at the very least to be told to see a neurologist or psychiatrist.

I would like to first state that before just recently I was not a woman on a spiritual path to "enlightenment", rather nowhere near that. I am neither religious or spiritual . . .

GuruSwamiG I am a 53 years old man.. At age 23 I began TM meditation and a few months later saw a picture of Meher Baba and went into deep bliss. For several days I was in a state that I could hardly speak, immense bliss, etc. For the next four years I meditated and the bliss-continued as I did my job etc. About four years later I began, what is now called Kundalini Syndrome, symptoms most of which was violent shaking back and forth, with deep weeping, lightening bolts guruucsonstructcracking in the center of my head, etc. . .

GuruSwamiG A couple of months ago (right at the end of 2007) I started meditating regularly and from the offset felt energy move up through my body, clearing each chakra one at a time. I remember at one point my heart was beating so fast that if it wasn't for my sense of calmness inside I probably would've been a bit more concerned! When the prana reached the top of my head, it felt like my crown chakra had been blown wide open. When I meditate now, I go through waves of being alert and able to focus and direct the flow of my energy and then into deep dream-like states where I live out real but surreal scenarios, until I come round again.

It can be an impediment to seekers and sadhakas to gather awakening stories because one can easily miss the point of recording them:

"Once a master used a ladder to climb to the top of the wall, that ladder is thrown away forever never to be used again." (Carse)

The pointing here is that one does not Awaken by using a another's ladder---following someone else's story. On This Path, one Stills by just being on the rung that is already beneath their feet Right Here, Right Now.

So what is the purpose of gathering and posting these Chronicles?

1. Descriptive not Prescriptive

First, the Chronicles are to describe the various ways Ones have Awakened, Here, on This Path with Guruji. Each set of postings from Guruji illustrate how different and unique each One's progress was according to each One's particular circumstances. Each describes what happened for this particular person in these particular circumstances, however, the writings are not to prescribe something for someone else.  The pointings here is to be aware each must walk their own Path and the pointings, though often similar, effect each one differently according to need, time, place of Now.

2. Pointings by Guruji that deepen as one reads them over and over again

Second, while each person's journey appears unique, the pointings made by Guruji are all the same. Each adjusted to the particular person, but the same pointings over and over again. Here, one can read these pointings from Guruji over and over as the levels of transmission deepen and deepen with each reading, and Guruji doesn't have to rewrite them over and over.  As long as one is NOT trying to follow the particular person the Chronicle is about and trying to duplicate it, the pointings of Grace can open to that One as needed, Right Here, Right Now

3. No one awakens following a story

Even if the story is of one who Awakens.  No story, of anyone. Only Be Here, Right Now, in These Circumstances beneath ones Own Feet . . .  is All.

4. From persona to 0-point balance with full knowledge

The last point is to show that indeed all those who have entered  Enlightenment went from persona to 0-point balance with full knowledge in an immediate shift as all fell away...  and that transformation  is immediate and what they speak from that point as one can see has  a radically different flavor than what was there just moments before...

So don't give up ---  Enlightenment isn't something that is learned...  It's not about learning to talk a talk, but the talk comes out of a Radical Shift of Consciousness....  Up to the moment of Realization there may  be confusion --- and difficulty --  So Don't Give UP ......  Keep walking  the path....    One is either Enlightened or not ---- there are not degrees  of Enlightenment....  There is either still illusion or Clarity...

So see the stories as LOOK --- they were also in the same boat as any other seeker but they kept going forward --- kept Surrendering --- kept  up with the practices Until ALL fell away into Reality....

None were born into a *** Spiritual***  family...they were not remarkable children who came in enlightened...  Each traversed the same storylines and suffering as any other seeker walking this path...  So stay steady and go forward.
