Because he has violated and continues to violate the precepts and has no regard for what it actually is. His pretending's are in no way close to what a Sannyas path is to be. When an initiate takes the vows to become a sadhu, this is often accompanied by death rites for their former life. Furthermore, they shave off all their hair, and then throw both their hair and old clothes into a river after donning the new robes of their sect or sub-sect. Symbolically, they kill themselves in order to be born again into a world that values the spirit over the material. By doing so, the sadhus experience their second birth and avoid any final death, becoming deathless, unified with the complete and, in Hindu cosmology, never ending cycle of being. For this reason, sadhus' bodies are not burned after death as is the custom for most Hindus, but rather they are either buried or tied with stones and thrown into a river.
 One is to be celibate, to develop Vairagya aka Dispassion. One is to be truthful. There is not supposed to be any attachments that develop. One gives Seva to mankind. Orange is to symbolize the burning off of ones karma by going through the tapasya. Sanskrit tapasya (neuter gender), literally "heat", refers to a personal endeavor of discipline, undertaken to achieve a goal, accompanying suffering and pain. Earliest reference of this word is to be found in the Rgveda-7.82.7a, where it is used in the sense 'pain, suffering' (Monier-Williams).[1][2] It is usually applied in religious and spiritual terms, but can be applied to any field or context. One who undertakes tapas is a Tapasvin. From tapas the more widespread word tapasyā was derived, which is used in all three genders and was mentioned in Katyayana-Shrauta-Sutra, Baudhayana's Dharma-shashtra, Panini-4.4.128, etc.[1][2] Rigveda has dozens of references to words derived from 'tapas' which indicate that "suffering, austerity" was its meaning from the Rigvedic times.
