What it is like to be Enlightened...

What it is like to be Enlightened...

E:If you were Enlightened, what would be different?

O - Nothing is different......

E: What do you think your experience of Reality would be?

G: the world moves forward as it is..... but instead of seeing the diversity as the ulitmate the One underneath it all is rested in..... Like the ocean reality or maya is simply the surface waves of moving consciousness.... shakti which manifests the underlying Ocean of Consciousness into a limited visible form..... But what is beneath and around and within that form is simply the same consciousness which comprises the Whole of the Ocean.... But in the calm of the depths you know the vastness instead of the limited......

The Three Types of Jivan Mukti

Student: While I at all times know myself as the Self *when I look*, I also remain somewhat caught up in my sense of self as an individual. Put in a different way, when the mind pauses and ponders, the Self "shines" from inside. However, when the mind is active, identity gets pulled into the personality until the mind begins another pause. I can stop writing and rest in the Self...then I can begin writing again and continue as the writer.

Sadhakas many times come in with the idea of loving love and seeking infatuation... a samadhi of escapism and blindness. . . Now, while YES, Truth is Sat Chit Anand, there is a difference in Existance - Consciousness and Bliss versus an emotional attachment to love ...

BLISS

  • Supreme happiness; utter joy or contentment
  • Theology. the joy of heaven.
  • Heaven; paradise: the road to eternal bliss.
  • Archaic. a cause of great joy or happiness.

There is a difference in the Bliss of Utter Contentment - It is quiet - full - Complete versusthe ignorance is Bliss type. Or the type that thinks Bliss has to do with always being almost in a drunken state of a high....

Enlightment Description from Buddhist Text

An ordinary 'person' who experiences reality as it is. Note: There's no mention of sitting on golden thrones using magical powers.

spacer1. What are enlightened people like? Well, some are men and some are women. [2] You might find them in a monastery or a suburban home, in the forest or in a small country town. It is true that there are not many of them but there are a lot more than people usually think. It is not that enlightenment is inherently difficult; the sad truth is that most people cannot be bothered to pull themselves out of the bog of ignorance and craving. [3]

2. At first you wouldn't notice the enlightened person in a crowd because he's rather quiet and retiring. But when things started to get heated, that's when he'd stand out. When everyone else was enflamed by rage he'd still be full of love. [4] When others were in turmoil because of some crisis he'd be as calm as he was before. [5] In a mad scramble to get as much as possible, he'd be the one over in the corner with the content expression on his face. [6] He walks smoothly over the rough, [7]he's steady amidst the shaking. [8] It's not that he wants to make a point of being different, rather it's freedom from desire that has made him completely self-contained. [9] But strangely, although others can't move him, his calm presence moves them. His gentle reasoned words unite those at odds and bring even closer together those already united. [10] The afflicted, the frightened and the worried feel better after they have talked with him. [11] Wild animals sense the kindness in the enlightened one's heart and are not afraid of him. [12] Even the place where he dwells, be it village, forest, hill or vale, seems more beautiful simply because he is there. [13]

What is this Path?

gurujisitting

This Online Ashram is under the direction of Sat Guru Swami G. It is a very potent Path of Kundalini whereby those who are ready to face their fears can move forward to Realization by following the Instruction and Practices of GuruSwamiG.

In this ashram seekers come and seek Wisdom and ask questions and have the opportunity to get answers from Guru Swami G. The prime focus here is This Path, the Practices, and Guidance from Guru Swami G that breaks through the ego (conditioned mind), not support ego. One needs to be strong and stable for this to occur.

This is NOT THERAPY and is NOT A SUPPORT GROUP. If one is looking for psychological help, a cure for physical or psychological problems or a support group actvity, this is not the place and one will be asked to leave and encouraged to seek the appropriate psychological and/or physical help to create and maintain stability in their lives.

For those seeking to find out more about this path, the procedure is to first join the Chat Group: Asking_the_Sadhakas_of_Swami-G    . It is here that you are able to interact with the students and sadhakas of Guru G and ask them about Swami-G and the path that is offered here. This is an opportunity for new joins that are not firmly ready for this path and still are doing practices elsewhere to find out what is offered here. Part of walking this path is being open - the questions you have may be of value to others - so all emails are subject to being posted as a way of helping other.

Namaste and welcome to all who find this site. Having traversed the journey of kundalini from start to finish, I knew that this site had to be started. Why? Simply because kundalini is so misunderstood, and due to the knowledge I have gleaned, having traversed 30 years of this most difficult experience. During my journey I searched for a Teacher or a Guide and found nothing except people with theories who had read some books or were teaching methods of yoga. None of these were able to answer the questions that were ringing in my mind or able to give any concreteadvice as to how to proceed. Chakras and energy fields, postures and theories did nothing except confuse the issue. Doctors and Mental Health professionals wanted to label and categorize. Tests were run, pills were given, diagnosis after diagnosis appeared. With each new prescription there was simply more toxic symptomology, while no help was forthcoming. The healthcare realm simply made the process even more unbearable.

During that time I promised that whatever knowledge I gleaned would be shared most openly. So here we go on the great kundalini adventure from hell to heaven and the path through consciousness. - Guru Swami G

What a Guru Gives and What a Guru Doesn't Give

The Guru is the ship that ferries one across the waters ---- but in order for this to take place the sadhakas have to actually get on the ship. There is so much misunderstanding in place by people coming into this Online Ashram.

Guru is the ship and practices are the oars --- but it takes the Sadhaka to follow the map and directions of pointings and to use the oars of the pratices to move forward. One can sit in the ship and go nowhere when you are expecting the ship to have automatic oar rowing, or if you only use one oar all that will happen is the Sadhaka will go in circles.

If Gurus could hand Realization to Sadhakas like an object then anyone that has ever gone to a Guru would be Enlightened.... but that is not the case.... Realization and Enlightenment have been a very rare happening --- but here things are breaking apart and there has and continues to be unlike anything in history to date.... Sage after Sage is coming into the world --- and more are ready to explode onto the scene. This is an exciting event in history.

If a Guru in past history had only one or two that entered Realization then their life mission was a success and a Blessing to humanity... So HOW in the world can people get the idea that any Guru is responsible for your progress or that Realization may be assured to any? Realization happens by GRACE.

A Guru has no control over:
  • • Ones willingness to actually do what is given
  • • Entering into Bhakti versus mind stuff
  • • Your past karmic baggage
  • • Ones over all seeing of the Admonitions as Grace
  • • Resistance

ON Resistance --- in working with Energy a resistance in the wire and Heat Builds --- So when there is heavy resistance a heating up takes place heating of the emotions or energies felt in the form....

Energy travels the path of least resistance... So you want to move forward then Surrender and Understand that what is being given in the way of Practices When done From the Heart in All Love and Respect moves one forward Rapidly....

To build up resistance to the Guru and to the pointings only serves to Heat up the situation and block the flow of energy.... Got It ? This blocks the Grace that could be coming through....

If one does the practices grudgingly and not from within a Heart of Loving Acceptance of knowing that Grace is in motion – then simply you are by your own hand bringing **stagnation*** and stopping the flow of Grace which could be in place....

Recommended Listening:

    A Guru Gives
  • • Any and all practices that may benefit the seeker
  • • Guidance to continue forward
  • • Wisdom and pointings towards Truth not fallacy
  • • Ways to mitigate karma when one Surrenders into Grace
  • • Tough Love as needed out of Compassion for ones suffering.
  • • Transmissions that move the Surrendered Sadhaka's forward at lightening speed.
  • • Diksha or Energy Blessings can bring rapid Shifts to Consciousness as:

Guru is linking into the energy system and consciousness to allow it an opportunity to come more into sync with the Gurus Stillness andAwareness... When a Sadhaka has a resistance to this then NO GURU will overpower any Sadhaka as the Sadhaka's free will of keeping ego alive will effectively keep a barrier in place that the Guru will not cross....

There are some who may do the practices fully with as open of a heart as possible but they may have another lifetime to go to break down all the conditionings of mind. In these cases they will pick up where they left off and continue forward to Realization in the next life. Many times it is much easier to get a very simplistic uneducated man to Realization than it is to get a scholar there --- Why?

Because the simple man may be more accepting of what is given openly than the highly educated man that is a sceptic or comes in with much book learning that has to all be stripped bare before moving forward...

It is easier to Surrender when one KNOWS they know nothing versus when they think they know more than what they do... Like the saying goes a little knowledge is a dangerous thing..... Come in Humility and be like a sponge that is overjoyed at gaining the water which will change it's dry barren state into that of being pregnant and full of the living waters of Life....

A Sadhaka is responsible for their life --- a Guru is in place to aide you in moving forward in a beneficial way....

What a Guru cannot do is to live your life for you... You make your choices and you must live with the outcomes of your actions... Every choice you make opens doors and closes doors... Every action brings a set of potential happenings and all of this remains in the harmony or within disharmony in the transient world...

Guru's and Sages offer the best that may be given ---

The Pearl of Great Price Whether it is opened up to or fought against (by keeping in ego first) is up to the seeker....

Maha Shanti OM
I Welcome You All with Great Love and Respect.
