Online Ashram Decorum and Practice Reports [if needed, a glossary of terms] [Note: Every Monday and Tuesday are Ashram Silent Days. Ashram is open from Wednesday thru Sunday] Where and How to Post: 1. Online Ashram Lists: go to youronline ashram list and follow instructions to post your report on the practices. You should go here every day and read all of the posts so you can learn from the experiences of others. Just by being on this site, you receive a strong transmission of energy which help you make progress. 2. To post a report, in the subject line write 'Jane Update July 16th' (or whatever the date is). You can only be a member of one list, however, everyone also strongly encouraged to join the "The Coffee Shop" Sadhaka Chat List. 3. Start the message with 'Namaste' and then give a SHORT summary of how the practices are working for you and what experiences you are having (e.g. energy movements, increased stillness, etc). please do not include any 'me' drama/storyline! 4. . The sadhaka list (The Coffee Shop) is for if you want to talk to other students about anything (whether to do with the path or not), this saves the ashram for practice reports only. it's up to you whether you use it. You can find it here: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/sadhakas/messages 5. If you've got any other questions, please don't hesitate to ask. [Notice: part of walking the path is being open - the questions you have may be of value to others - so emails are subject to being posted as a way of helping others- Thank you for your contribution with this and giving the opportunity to be of service.]
What to Post • Practice Reports to the Online Ashram are solely about the Practices. Solitary Razors Edge Group must submit practice reports at least once a week and more when needed. Other groups can be weekly however at least once a month is required. Reports need to be about experiences, struggles, openings, flow, and questions where needed. No chit-chat, or preaching to others. For example of what type material to include in Practice Report: <<Attention is given to staying always in the Present Moment... few storylines...and doing My mind has recently been most quiet and noticing getting deep into Surrender where there is no effort just a Flow happening. I just want to surrender everything that comes up in my life. Having puluses of energy up spine and out top of head that are quite strong. Nothing unpleasant, just strong. BB and OTIA in place. And stay in the Now. My head does slump sometimes during COS, is this something I should try to change or accept as it is?>> • NO CHAT MATERIAL in Reports to Online Ashram list. For example of what NOT to post:
Chat material will NOT be responded to on Online Ashram List. There is a Sadhaka/Seeker chat list (The Coffee Shop) for this material: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/sadhakas/ Gurus and Sages check on and contribute content at the Sadhaka list on an as needed basis. Gurus and Sages may or may not comment on postings in the Sadhaka Chat list. Needed information from Gurus and Sages will be posted as needed. This site is more like an Ashram in that Seekers come and seek Wisdom and ask Questions and have the opportunity to get answers from Qualified Swami's or a Sat Guru. As in ALL Ashrams : there is a Decorum in place that if you are not going to act in a responsible or authentic manner then you will be shown the door. No Ashram put's up with tantrums or ego posturing by seekers and neither will it gain a foothold here. If you want a place to just hang out and talk with others who are caught up in the newest experience or book or new age - channeling - psychic - siddhis - ( in other words) all the avenues which are entertaining but have little value in moving one forward to Realization then this is NOT the place for you. On the other hand IF you find yourself in the midst of seeking and are having experiences which leave you shaken or surprised and are seeking Authentic Help and a Path in order to move forward to Realization and once and for all out of the suffering persona then you are most welcomed to be here. Namaste and Om 1. Save the Hey there or the Hi for your buddies. When seeking someone's Wisdom have the Courtesy to come with the greeting of Namaste. 2. Write in full sentences without abbreviated words - Someone is taking the time to answer your questions it is not to much to ask that you at least take the time and effort to write a letter in an appropriate manner. 3. What is it worth ? Even though there is no charge levied - no fee required there should still be some type of exchange in place . What is given has worth and should be acknowledged as such in some manner. Even if the donation is only the amount of a cup of coffee or a movie and a show STILL give more than simply a gee thanks. Seva could also be offered in some manner such as a barter system ? 4. What is given by the Swami's and Guru are for the seekers benefit - don't come with a chip on your shoulder or the attitude that my truth and truths are just as valuable (if you had the truth or truths that ended suffering you would already be there and not seeking anything from this site) 5. Note that Tuesdays are Guru's Day Off. Sages and Sadhakas will respond to Practice Reports and whatever is needed. 6. ALL communications are to be done through the Online Ashram List or the Sadhaka Site with Guru and Sages unless Gurus say other ways. If needed, ask Guruji permisson before calling her on the Online Ashram list. No one is to contace any Sages with private email, phone calls, or visits. If need would arise, again, it must go through Guruji with a request through the Online Ashram Lis first. 7. For those leave the Ashram, there is to be no contact with Sages in any manner. If there is an Ashram concrern to be discussed after leaving or a want to return, that too must go through Guruji only by sending a message to the list that will automatically will go direcly to her. 8. Do not use Guruji's private email address for communication unles you are given permission from her directly. This helps keeps things clear and orderly so unecessary distractions do not occur. Note: While ALL are YES the same Essence and therefore not higher nor lower the seeker is still in Dual Mind and therefore for that one Hierarchy still remains in the transient scheme of things --- Therefore - Respect the Swami's and Guru - come with an open Heart and Mind - empty it of all that you think you know so that the cup has room to be filled. A full cup means no room is left - poison (of ignorance) and pure truth don't mix. When mixed there are only half truths and a little truth is a dangerous thing.... Love and Light Maha Shanti OM Guru Kaliuttamananda-Giri (GuruSwamiG) [Notice: part of walking the path is being open - the questions you have may be of value to others - so emails are subject to being posted as a way of helping others- Thank you for your contribution with this and giving the opportunity to be of service.]
