Love/Bliss vs. Stillness/Realization

[if needed, a glossary of terms]

From: Sage Udit

Realization is beyond all experiences and feelings including Love/Bliss. In Realization, duality vanishes as well as pairs of opposites such as love/hatred, joy/pain, good/bad, success failure, pretty/ugly etc. Therefore Love and Bliss may come and go. What remains permanently is Stillness. There is A Deep Peace and Contentment despite any external changes, either "good" or "bad". ONE KNOWS THAT EVERYTHING IS PERFECT AS IT IS. Nothing can be added or removed to make it more perfect. As a matter of fact, it cannot be more perfect. There is nothing to gain, nothing to lose; nothing to learn, nothing to seek; nothing to reach, nothing to attain. In that state of Stillness, one may seem happy or sad, loving or angry, compassionate or harsh etc...Nevertheless, the core of being is always untouched, pure, silently resting in the Absolute Perfection of IS.

In Realization, Love does not mean sentimentalism. For instance, this one is a loving but completely detached parent, knowing that all is neither good nor bad, all is just as it is and should be: FLOW...

Love,

Udit

Namaste,

From start to finish of the Journey for this one took 2 years... all, except for a few months, walked in Guru-ji's Great Care.  Never once was this "Bliss" experienced.

There was a steady experience of One-ness during the last few months along the Way.  It was Beauty Filled, Full of Wonder and Awe, inspired Peace and inherently Contained Love.  But never any "Bliss".

In an instant, out of time, transcending mind... REALity in its Pure Pristine Glory was Known and Lived.

Sat Chit Anan

Sat - Being/Existence

This Being is ALL that IS.  The Giver, Sustainer, Heart of ALL

Life.  Closer than close.  More Real than real.  It has Always Been,

Is Now and Will Always BE.

Chit - Consciousness

The Knower.  The One and Only.  Consciousness which Contains ALL  Life.

Empty-Full Aware REALity of ALL.

Bliss - Peace

Inherently Full of Peace.  Completely Still and Quiet.  Like the  Center of a wheel - - This IS the Steady Point of all that turns  naround it.

Since Realization, Bliss has come to the Heart.  Pure - Flowing - Beauty Filled.  However, the Still Point can not be touched... never affected.  So regardless if there is Bliss, sadness, anger or any emotion - - the Guru/Sage remains Untouched. The Center is Always Still.  This movement on the surface is NOT what Sat Chit Anand  - - Sat Chit Anand transcends even the Greatest state of Bliss.

Ramana sums it up, as usual, Perfectly:

"To the Jnani, who is asleep in the gross body, the states of activity, samadhi, and sleep mean no more than a cart's moving, stopping, and being yoked mean to a traveller who is asleep in it."

Meaning - - the Jnani has transcended the body / mind and what happens to it is of no consequence one way or the other... regardless of how it may appear on the surface.

Shanti Shanti OM,

Sarojini

Love and bliss are two of many conditions of a conditioned mind. These two are very popular because of their central elements: love and bliss. The conditioned mind has judged these two conditions to be good as opposed to bad and has made them indicators of the TRUTH, which in reality, needs no indication.

Love and bliss are like bread. UM.UM. this is good. But, Let us add peanut butter and UM. UM. UM. it is better.  Yet, let us add jelly and UM. UM. UM. UM. best. Oh, NO. Peanut allergy, NO NO Bad, need better, take away peanut butter, add, cinnamon and sugar. UM, UM, good. Let us get milk, UM. UM. better. oh no, Lactose intolerant, no no Bad. NOW I have bread, Um UM Good, Let us add butter, UM. UM>good. etc.

Anything one needs more of, is never enough.

The deep estatic bliss came for this one at age 23. For three years, the Bliss grew and grew.

Since then, for 30 years afterwards, it comes and goes in intensity, seemed to always be to some degree, and gets stronger as this is written. But this was not stable as it changed and there was still attachments, striving, and trying.  Functioning in the world was very, very difficult.  Now, it is seen that it was used by ego to escape from instead to BE in Living. With This Path,  when the Stillness happened, it was clear that the Bliss, though enjoyable and pleasurable, is not stable and not the Ground of Being. That is part of the laughter. Such a big joke it IS. What was surprising was Stillness, out of no-where happened and This was undeniable . . . the Ground of Being. Not as an idea, but as Direct Experience untouched by any-thing or experience.  Bliss still pulses, Heart still opens, but there are changes in these, yet Stillness continues as it was and ever will be.  As often written Here, Stillness just IS. The metaphor of the Ocean and the Waves?  The Ocean is the Stillness and the Waves are transient, coming and going, emerging out of Stillness. . . Bliss is wonderful, beautiful Waves.

What Guruji brought to this one, that never had happened before, was direct instruction through the phenomena and the ego/conditioned mind's endless questions, attachments to experience, and testing. Stop, she instructed. This one Listened and Stillness Happened. And, it Still Is.

Namaste!
